    howdy all,need some info a master cylinder for heel brakes thaks marc n43643

    Use matco's they are the most affordable, they also have some good information on the Grove landing gear site about ratio needed to compress the master cylinder. Tim

      Here is how I did mine. . . . . it allowed me to run dual brakes with just 2 cylinders. Also I have no brake fluid in the cabin to make a mess.

      In the photo it is not finish welded- just tacked into position. Since this photo it has been fully welded up and tested- works like a charm and doesn't require and mods to the airframe other than the welding on the gear.

      Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.

        One more- the tie rods were not welded in yet but you get the picture.

          Was that done by STC, or 337? I've been wondering about hydraulic brakes for a while.

            There is no 337 or STC required for the aircraft pictured above.....it's and experimental clipped wing t-craft

              howdy tim,how did you mount the macto cylinder and do you have any pitchers steve at steve aircraft is helping me get the stc also there a tcraft in ashland with piper j3 cylinder thanks marc n43643
