Hi Tim, I don't think so, was it similar to the Lyc 'kind of a "Y" with no filter? Do you know where an original can be had??

I have one that is real beat up, it has no provisions for a filter, I could loan it and some pieces of one to you if you want to duplicate it.....

Mike, if you want to go the open cowl route you'll need a different boot cowl too... I know there's someone on the list here who may have a NOS one for sale!!! The upper and lower cowlings are a little hard to find. I may have a lead on a Continental upper. I can put you in contact with these guys if you're interested. I've decided to try and convert a Lycoming cowl. Finding the cooling eyebrows is another goose chase. Some begging and groveling on the list here seems to work sometimes

                Howard,

The boot cowl on mine is the one for the open cowl. There are standoffs sticking out from the boot cowl to mount the "pressure" cowl. Looks tacky! I bought her this way, but one of these days it needs to be done right. I might be interested in a NOS boot cowl though if you don't mind passing that along. Thanks! PM please.

                  Mike,

If you pass on the NOS boot cowl, let me know. I am interested.

                  Howard,

                  Hopefully, I'm second in line.
