  • Sensenich Ground Adjustable Prop

Check out this new ground adjustable prop....$2,556......not too bad.

I heard it's 10lbs less than a regular McCauley Metal prop.....I wonder if this will ever get certified....It's for Exp and ELSA looks like....nice though. You can install pitch cartriges to change your pitch on the ground.

The shape of the blade (planform) looks VERY efficient to me. Being able to adjust your pitch for the mission you are flying or to fine tune it to a particular airplane also seems like a great idea.

J just flew one of the CubCrafters S2 SportCub with the new prop and it is very smooth, but it stops instanly when the mixture is pulled, but it is very nice, looks different and kind of spendy, can fly a Tcraft for quite awhile for the price of one, T.T,

$2,500 bucks or so is what a standard fixed pitch metal prop costs....so I don't think it's too bad a price (in comparison at least)....I bet if they certified it would go up considerably though.

I was looking at those a couple months back. The pitch change cartridge is a pretty nifty idea.

I'm going to seriously consider one for my Swick - if we can still afford to fly when I'm done..........

              In flight adjustable....
              like a Beech Ryobi....
It wasn't the greatest mechanism. Great idea, but kind of finikey.
