Floats for L2

Has anybody ever put floats on an L2. I don't see anything about floats mentioned in the TCDS. STC? Field approval?

I had a frend with a L-2 that had floats on it. He also had a c-90 in it it did fairly well.
If it was leagle im not shure. He moved to texas about ten years ago and he took the plane with him. He was from soldotna..

I know of one that was done on one time STC. I bet it is the same aircraft. There is a guy on the board that bought the aircraft in Texas without the floats and is restoring it. He is a member on this board.
