Clayton Skylight STC

I just spent an hour on the phone with Greg Clayton- owner of the Skylight STC. What a wealth of Taylorcraft information!! Very nice guy to talk too.

I ordered the last of his skylight kits. He mentioned he may or may not be building more kits due to health reasons. If he does, it will be a few months minimum.

Here is his information for the STC
This kit can be retrofitted to flying aircraft, minimal welding required.

say did he say anything about his projects plane i traded him some wing parts to help him out with it did he say if he was done with it ???

Not sure if he is done with it, but he said it had mechanical leading edge slats like a helio and big Cessna style fowler flaps. Sounded like quite a modified T-Craft and seemed excited about it.

We talked more about replacing tail posts, beefing up the tail of Taylorcrafts and common lower longeron problems.
