howdy all i called flight craft and was told it would cost $2,000 for the inspection what a joke there out of there mind can any one tell me of another inspector thank marc n43643
We took my struts to FlightCraft at PDX after they quoted $500 for 4 struts. After two months they called and said they had finished one and the charge on that ONE was $500 (it passed).
They did apologize and return all four at no charge. It was my impression they just don't want to do them, hence the ridiculous price.
Sooooooo, I'm looking for someone in the Portland area to do them for a reasonable price. Any help out there?
I bought a Mooney last month, so I'm getting my flying fix in.....but I still miss the T!!
Vincent, you might try Dick Jacobs at Northwest Propellor in Puyallup, WA. I talked to him at the start of this fiasco and he was very willing to do whaterver and they're set up with pretty much everything you'd need, I'm pretty sure.

As per Wade and Forrest's recommendations, we took the struts off 43457 to Acuren near Seattle. They charged $350 for all four (they all passed). You can call them at 425-355-5019.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.....and don't forget the brave men and women this day honors.
