I spoke with the folks at Acuren on Pain Field in Everett about the NDT strut test. Looks like 4hrs min @ $110/hr plus film costs for the X-ray. I have 2 sets of struts to inspect and wanted to invite anyone else in the area to join in to split/reduce their cost for the X-rays.

I contacted these folks and got a responce from Jerry Nast stating he was coming back to Milwaukee for two weeks and would be happy to do mine and maybe a friend struts. see his responces

The cost for doing all eight(8) struts would be $1800.00. The cost for doing four(4) struts would be $1000.00. These prices are for struts that are prepped and ready to inspect. These prices reflect performing the ultrasonic examinations only. I will be in the Milwaukee area till 11/09/07. Please let me know either way if you are interested. How much do replacement struts cost?

As you can guess, I pass on that offer.
