Does anyone have a recommendation for who and where to get struts x-ray performed and what the cost is? {near Pittsburgh, PA}

Set up with Acurion 20 miles west of Alliance. near the CAK Airport . I take them in batches from my shop at 2D1. still working on volume pricing.

Will there be a fly-in this year at 2D1? Maybe an arrangement can be made to have a group testing done at the field for those who wait or those who replace and want their old struts tested to make available to others??

There is a guy at Hawkins county,Tennessee who is doing x-rays with faa approval. He charges $50 an hour if you bring the struts to him at his shop, but if he has to come to the airport and do it he has a 4 hour charge minimum and it only takes him about an hour to do it. If you fly into Hawkins County he can come out and x-ray your strut attach also at no extra charge. It may not comply with an AD if one is issued but at least you will know what you have.
