Sorry to butt in here, but I put a 2 piece Wag-Aero Aeronca exhaust on my last T-craft. I am not sure I would do it again. It was ugly despite the fiberglass fairings I made for the cowl, it sounded a little louder, and I'm not sure the engine liked it any more.

Have you tried an L-2 muffler? The L-2 was made as sort of a spy plane (forward observer) and I believe the military wanted it slow AND quiet. It has a great muffler that is really quiet (I can sneak up on almost anyone)and it puts out a lot of cabin heat. I fly my L-2B on skis all winter and my feet are always warm and I am fairly comfortable in the front seat. Now the back seat however, is another story.

I have a copy of the 337 field approval. Remember I was running mine on an 0200 but if you get the same exhaust for the C85 it will work great. I did have to remove the tab that holds the original gascolator(if you don't want to remove it you can bend it up about an inch and have plenty of clearance) and with the 6qt oil pan on the 0200 I had to modifiy a corner of the oil tank for scat tubing clearance. I did put the A65 oil tank on and had all kinds of room so with the A65 or C85 you will be fine. The biggest deal is cutting one extra hole in the opposite side of the cowling for the other exhaust stack and relocating the gascolator to the firewall.
