I made them from 1/4" phenolic.

You can find the phenolic at McMaster Carr, that is where I got mine for my spar insert upgrade. L

Ak150crate, Since you're in PAKN, you might touch base with anyone down there who works on electrical power supplies, Gensets, boat electrical, etc. With all the past Air Force and military stuff that has landed there, there is probably a sheet or piece of what you need in someone's junk pile...you know nothing ever gets thrown away in the bush.
