Send me your address and I will mail you one. I made an extra just a few days ago. It just needs some filing to finish up!

              Jim,

what material are you using? Is there a drawing or is it just a donut with an inside/outside diameter and thickness? I have never looked at mine but have wondered about the apparent slop in my control yoke...

              Thanks,

The originals were phenolic. If I was to make some it would be out of Teflon sheet. When the wear out, it causes the shafts to rub on the panel

I replaced mine with Phenolic and had the shafts rechromed, you might have to buff the hole a little but I remember the hole being just over .750 and I used a rotary flapper wheel with about 120 grit and a cordless drill to smooth out the for and aft motion. If you need the rubber u-channel, metro molded products sells it by the foot.

Look it up by product type and the dimentions that you need. They also have a real nice fuel tank grommet, GF22 that looks great and is not damaged by auto fuel.

                        Mike,
I recently bought a 46 Taylorcraft with a lot of slop in the shaft bearings. If you are selling them I sure would like to buy a couple of bearings from you. Thanks, Dick

If someone would send me a sample or a drawing I can machine some from phenolic on my CNC router and supply them to the group for the cost of material and shipping.

There are the STC SA666NW for a Teflon control yoke bushings, that I believe is a modern way of replace the old fiber bushings.-
The STC is at name of Mr. George Johnson of Puyallup, WA 98371.-
