      Re: Alaska Cruisin'

      Darren, Wish you were up here...we could go do some looking around! I've been out of the loop for a while, as we were Outside for a couple of months.
      Also, we have a young grandson (8 months old) that has developed a bone disease that has doctors puzzled, so we've been focused on other concerns.
      Still, it is good to be back home and do the things that make this place special. Will give you a call on the land line soon. Dick

        Be careful what you wish for Dick.... I'd love to come up again!

        On the last note - so sorry to hear about your grandson. One's got to wonder why some of the mean people are still alive and kicking - and lil' ones are going through things like that... just not fair.

        Any time at all... cell phone listed in my signature and normally always have it on hand. Good to hear back from you!!!

            Dick;
            Everytime you post Alaska pictures you make me jealous. Stop it! I'm old and past the "easy jealous" period in my life. That said, keep posting pix. I'm learning to live with it. All the best!!!

                      Re: Cabin checkout

                      Jim with the shotgun we carry while walking through grass and alders below a cabin we were checking on as a possible Taylorcraft "gathering" site. His plane is in the background. The cabin needs some work, but could be utilized.

                              Hi Guys,

                              That photo of Jim and I over at Vogel was taken quite a while ago. We need to get together again like that soon. Where's the cabin you were looking at Dick? I went over to Beluga Lake last week, but the silvers weren't in there yet. They may be by now though. Steve.
