    Re: N Number error...!

Tribe, I ascribed "N96179" to Chris's plane when I started the thread: Alaska Cruisin'...Larry Wheelock noticed the error and called it to my attention. Chris's N number is N95179. My mistake. Thanks, Larry, for the heads up. Dick

Tribe, here is an interesting link to a guy who has made several trips to Alaska with his homebuilt plane. http://www.experimentalairplane.com/
Makes for some enjoyable dreaming on a snowy day. Some good pictures and info. Dick

        Hello Dick,

I noticed your picture of the 'ski-gathering'. What a great shot. If you do that again this winter could you let me know? I would like to meet some of you seasoned Alaska T-Craft flyers.

Jim, We will certainly let you know when we put together a Taylorcraft gathering. We have a good number of folks who check in on the forum and it would really be a lot of fun to put faces on those we haven't met personally yet. It's virtually impossible to get everyone together at one time, but we can certainly work on it. It won't be long before we have some decent ice...if the Global Warming doesn't set in too hard! We had about 8 inches of snow last night...and I just got around to yanking the floats off this afternoon. Anyway...we will let you know as something starts to shape up. Plus, we can just meet up on some lake somewhere on a short notice basis.
Holiday and family activities take priority this time of year, but it will all pan out! Later, Dick

That sounds great, Dick. I'm all for the "short notice" idea as well. I work for FedEx so Holiday time is a bit busy for me as well. December is also 'annual month' for 3571T. You must have been one of the last to take the floats off. I shoveled out the tie-down spot again tonight.

See you out on a lake somewhere later this winter...
