Left landing gear damaged ,both vertical tubes and axle aimed in the wrong direction. ? best way to fix? My present thought is to remove gear , straighten tubes as good as necessary to have axle in right position. Anybody done enough of this to have a good repair approach? John Wright

The only good news is that folks seem to be asking for right LG, so you'll probably have little problem find a leftie.

Straightening alone won't do it as the metal has been weakened.

There are several ways to repair bent or damaged tubing. Get a copy of
AC-4313 from Aircraft Spruce for the approved procedures. You can also access this on the FAA's web site, but I can never seem to find it.

Mail it to Airframes Inc, in Big lake Alaska, they will straighten and repair, Its not the cheapest but its right and you will get some paperwork with it. Tim
