    Re: need a book

You proabably will not find a book to tell you where everything goes, you can go to the Capt. Jon's website, he has the parts manuals in .pdf format, and you can look at other aircraft and take pics and maybe you could find someone to give you a hand that knows where things go.. Maybe Forrest or the factory could send you copies of the assembly drawings. Good luck Tim

      Re: need a book

there is no magic book for assembly on "B" models like the L-2's(thank god for the military). There is not that many parts to one, so if you post a pic here, someone will be able to help you out. The is a few pics in the parts manual Univair has but not a true assembly diagram

        Marc:
My sympathy to you brother. I got one of those parts-in-boxes planes too. It's really overwhelming at first, but have faith, start with one major assembly (left wing for example) and the parts will just seem to fall into place. (OK, I'll admit I still have a half dozen parts that don't seem to belong to this plane!)

Like Mike, my number one reference is the parts manual. I also use the L-2 drawings quite a bit as many parts and assemblies are identical to the B series.
