Spent the weekend floating home in a BC-65. 750 miles in about 8 hours flying. Forgot what flying was really all about. To much kerosene and avionics. Well not anymore...She is a 1939 BC-65 that started life a BL-65. It has been living in and around Kansas and Arkansa for the last 68 years. Great restoration and lots of documentation.

Re: New (to me) 1939 BC-65
Michael,
Looks like a lot of time went into her. More that you can understand unless you done it. I restored a 1941 Chief in the 80's but now have a 46 BC12D that is undergoing a very intensive annual. Come by Hilliard Airpark 01J and visit us. Guys hang around Thursdays and Saturdays. Not as fancy as St Augustine but we do have biplanes and homebuilts too.
