howdy all,i just finish with my paint job and should finish with my welding i have been talking to steve&brain at steve aircraft and iam going to make a sea plane door will take pitchers to show you.does anyone have any idea on how to do the door frame.marc n43643

I've gotten a field approval on a door like charley's, On a 46 BC-12D if anyone needs the paper work.

I also have a set but they are for the wood frames(all metal doors from a BC12D that attach to the wooden fabed fuslage door frame).

I found the original supplier for the J tubing that the prewar doors are made from, IM me if anyone is interested. Tim

When I purchased my Taylorcraft last year it came with two extra doors and both have appear to either been modified or came with cut outs on the bottom for glass. They are in bad but restorable shape.
