    Much as I hated to do it I found that the only way to stop even a slow seep was to use a thin coat od RTV gasket compound.

      I use REAL Gaskets for the valve covers.

      Install these dry.

        I concur with Rob. I have never had a leak with Real Gaskets and they are reuseable. Not that much more to pay for knowing you will not have a leak at the valve covers. They also have a dipstick gasket and oil sump gasket for the A-65.

          Silicone and cork gaskets you can run dry without leaks if properly torqued. I always have to use a dab of Permatex #3 or hylomar on the black gasket material. I won't use RTV.
