I think I'll cut the grass today. i'm in Houghton this morning and there is NO snow. We got 100+ inches in December last year! What's going on..... There is no snow anywhere in the U.P.

sorry about the mispost about the up. This must be a record, no snow. I was in the AF there in the 60s/70s, and it always snowed in the up.

    Rob,

I'm surprised you were able to escape from the state of Chicago, oops, City of Chicago in a timely manner. (I'm sure Mike understands how that works). I absolutely dread flying from O'Hare, especially in winter. Glad you had good weather to get out of there. Enjoy your stay!

    Rob,

How are you finding time to check in on the forum? Are you trying to stay away from trouble??

Enjoy. I hear "it" all stays there just so you know...

December 21st and no snow in Northern Ontario. Lake is still open and grass is green! Doesn't look like we'll be having our annual polar bear dip through the ice on boxing day.

What part? I know Ironwood didn't have any.I checked all the way across & most had no base & several places it was raining as it is here.

Isn't it amazing. My sons & I planned to snowmobile all next week.We can't because of no snow in Michigan, but I could trailer them to New Mexico or northern Texas & snowmobile.I hope to get some flying in instead.

    Denver Blizzard

From Snowy Denver CO: I can report that the blizzard has broken. We had about 26 inches of white stuff on the porch... which seems to be just about the average reported around the city. Yesterday we had 50MPH winds.
I thought about flying my T-Craft from a kite-string. I could've gotten airborne but was unsure how to land it.

I've got a cornich of wind-driven snow on the roof, off my front porch, better than 2 feet long. Anyone knocking on my door is likely to be buried in an avalanche. I love winter and now I'm off, to shovel. For those wanting pictures... watch CNN.
