I know I said I was going to keep it a secret until it was flying but I just can't help myself. Look Crispy Critter up in the Gallery and check out the new paint on the fuslage and stablizers....let me know what you think...nothing fancy but it will have more on it before it's finished....I'll keep that part a secret. I would post a link but I can't remember how

Frank:
I'll try this one just because I'm so annoyed by the difficulty of finding the gallery.
Go to the home page (the one you get when you first log on here), then click on "Photo Gallery", don't click on "Discussion", or you're lost. When you get to gallery, you only see the first 5 posts or so...don't give up, you just have to tell the machine what you want...so type "crispy" or whatever into the search box and it'll fling out everything with the word "crispy" (but nothing else.)
Now, I love this website (big wet kiss on the screen), but the photo gallery is difficult to find and difficult to use. It needs some sort of index or browse function or something. Just my opinion.

Kevin, white base, black trim, and medium gray accent will look fantastic. Think about adding some gray to the white/black scheme.Taylorcraft : Making Better Aviators for 75 Years... and Counting

Re: New Crispy Pics in Gallery...
How about either a gray pinstripe around the black trim, or offset shadow effect along the bottom edge of the trim stripes, and match your upholstery to that color?

I saw the photos of the white and black T-craft out in the Alvord desert, and it looked fantastic. Combining the two ideas would surely make a show stopper.
As for where, that will depend on what kind of trim scheme you want to do. White fuselage, black diamond "T-craft" strips and a gray upper cowling "anti-glare panel" area would look good. Black leading edge and top of the fin, white fin and rudder, and gray checkerboard on the rudder itself would look great. One of those factory style paint shcemes with the lighter color on the top hapf of the fuselage and darker color on the bottom half of the fuselage would look great in white/gray with the black stripe between the two. Gray leading edge on a white wing, with black pinstripe, or black leading edge with gray pinstripe... It turns out that is should be a "coloring book" activity where you make several children's style renditions with different schemes.
