The only source was Skybound and it's not clear (to me anyway) what happened to any remaining inventory.
I toyed with the idea of making some using a plywood buck which wouldn't be too difficult to make, but was able to buy a pair from skybound. That was about 10-12 years ago.

They can be made with soft aluminum but you will need to do a LOT of metal bumping to make them. I have repaired some REALLY bent up ones and it is a bit easier than making them from scratch. They don't look perfect when finished, but you have to lay down under the plane to see the flaws. Also takes a while to eliminate and contact between the wheel and dust cover. The first time I turned the wheel the scraping sound was a real shock.
