Im wondering if anyone has an answer to the new rule the FAA has come out with in September where no one other than a licensed A&P can work on a certified aircraft, no more supervised work by a non A&P unless they are present when the work is done. ? Meaning no repair or assisted annuals if the A&P isn't present, Not a happy scenario, for us, unwashed .in the wanting to have legal airplane.

It’s not a new rule, it’s an interpretation of an existing rule that was for people using video for inspection and supervision purposes. Lots of discussion on this.

No, it is not a new rule, but the lawyer went wat beyond the question that was asked upsetting the generally accepted way things had been done forever.
