        Sort of. Doing the 1941 deluxe upgrade to model 19 with the CAP STC’s with as many mods as I can get stc’s for
        skylite, wing mods for 1,500lb gross, large baggage. Back windows. 85-12 engine annd starter- already done. I have Trickair ski 337 and FAA field approval, shoulder harnesses, EDO 1320 straight floats. Working with Terry Boden on getting approval for heavy duty gear.

        Looking forward to seeing your project completed. Are you going with full restoration to original?
        these Tcrafts are great performers.

          Very similar. I am doing the CAP STC s using an 0200 however short mount. Will be putting on a starter only. CAP upgrade to 1320 gross. Using the Clayton Skylight STC and yes shoulder harnesses

            that is a great upgrade, i did those in the past and really like the starter and power. makes a great plane better yet. Did you pick a colors yet

              Yes Colors will be in Aerothane :Insignia Blue fuselage and Sun Valley Ivory interior ,wings and horizontal stab. How about you?

                Using the original piper training blue metallic and Juno white with black trim. Hope to start reassembly after first and fly in spring.

                  Sounds super! I will be at least another year and probably a year and a half or more..so spring ,summer ,fall 2025?

                      Just stick with it. Don't let too many days pass without doing something. I would like to say I do something every day but does not happen. A bunch of work but all very doable!

                        Yes, do something everyday, even if it's just researching parts or technical info, or cleaning a part. At least then you'll feel like the project is moving in the right direction, keeping you motivated.

                            To anyone doing a complete and I do mean complete down to bare metal everything and new hardware every thing it is just what you can imagine. I just spent 8 hours getting a rudder to bare metal . Cutting through Zinc Chromate and what looked like red /brown oxide primer ...looked original. Then cleaning up any rust spots and just re primed this evening to stop any flash rust. Every day spent at the hangar is shear joy. To restore the family airloom as I call it..No speed clock on however age is always a consideration. I highly recommend this therapy for anyone so imclined!

                              It's looking great Jim, exciting to see the shape of the fuselage again.
