  • How do I tie-down on Ice??

Hello! I'm looking at a set of skis for my plane and have yet to see any pointers for tie down on a frozen lake. We have a summer place in N. Wisconsin that we'd love to access, but i don't want to leave a plane out on the lake unsecured...especially in the winter, that'd be madness. And, of course, there are a lot of restaurants on the lakes nearer my home that we're going to try. I don't PLAN on flying on windy days for jaunts to restaurants on the lake, but I also like to have a plan for tie-down when staying multiple days up North. I don't mind hunkering down for a few xtra days if the weather turns, but no tiedown equals a no-go in my opinion.
