JIm, the work looks outstanding. Nice to see you have the turnbuckle on the back side of the H-column.

Also compliments on your neat & clean shop. What's the extra panel in the back ground, spare?
Keep up the good work! Post more pics, they are inspiration for my projects.

        Thanks.

          Mark,

          Thank you.

The shop is actually a T hangar.

The other instrument panel you see is on the side work bench. It is the original panel which had a venturi driven turn and bank and a vsi added in 1952 from what looked like a kit package from Pioneer Instruments. I knew the gent that added these as he was the planes owner at that time and an A&P that was still around when my father and his partner owned it. Three generations of my family have owned the plane at some point. My father, then to me and now my son.

Will continue to post pictures as time goes on. Slow proces between meaningful chunks to see. Fun no matter!

          Thank uou again Mark.

A replacement for the troublesome Imperial main fuel cutoff valve that is located at the bottom of your main tank. It is a beautiful ball valve replacement .

Hopefully that link works. If you look further down in the forum you will see where astjp2 (Tim Popp) responded to one of my posts regarding the ball valve size. Anyway astjp2 has them or at least he did. I think he was making up some more.
