  • Cabin Heat Valve

Well, here is a some what a unique issue!!!

It seems my "Florida Taylorcraft" never had a cabin heat valve installed on the firewall during some past rebuild

Is there anyone here that has one? Does anyone know where to purchase one?? Is there a previous 337 installing one that can be used for directions and as accepted data??

    Any input is appreciated

No need for a 337, the aircraft came certified with the heat valve installed, so you're simply reinstalling a part that's suppose to be there.

Most of the valves are worn from rattling around for years, but can be repaired by welding.

I made a doubler with nutplates that goes on the aft side of the firewall so that the valve and lower cowl mount is held in place by structural machine screws in ace of rivets. Makes it a one man R&I
