I had a set of baffles I loaned out to be copied but (surprise surprise) I forgot who I loaned them to! This time I wrote it down AND THEN LOST THE PAPER I WROTE IT DOWN ON!!! I don't need them back yet, but wold like to know who I loaned them to. Also it looks like Ian (taylorukuk) could use a tracing of the parts if he is trying to do the same thing.
Also, I found the rest of the parts I didn't send to whoever I loaned mine to. Glad to add them in if I could remember who I sent them too.
Getting old is hard. Not getting any older is worse!

As far as I could determine, there are no detailed drawings of the baffles or installation. Needless to say many have been modified over the years too with mixed results.
Mine was a mix of original and non, and I spent a good deal of time figuring out what original was, and mostly stayed true to that, copying the baffles I had that were clearly original, and using craft card and photos to fabricate the rest. I also used silicone seals as the felt ones are inadequate.
I documented the work here
TALORCRAFT Taylorcraft BC12D aircraft restoration maintenance fabric sheet metal paint airplane repair wing aileron fuselage cowling A65 PA 18 super
Starts at the bottom, and continues about 1/4 way down the page. The crankcase baffle I made from a photo I got from this site.
