All, What limits aileron or control wheel rotation? I can't find stops on the bell crank in the wing and there don't seem to be any on the wheel shafts either. BC12-D.

Look on the left, (pilots) control wheel shaft at the sprocket the chain goes over. There should be a pin in the sprocket that will limit the rotation. Also, as a side note, years ago when I was young and dumb, I used to roll my T-craft and would reach over and grab the right wheel and pull it in the roll direction, which would give you just a slightly bit more roll rate. This was because there was no stop on the right control sprocket, taking up any slight amount of cable slack.

Its around a quarter turn or so from center in each direction. If your going to do aerobatics, you must remember these are old airplanes and you should know your airframe very well. Lots of unknown history and repairs over the years for most of these airplanes. Just something to think about.

There's also an AD on the stops. Need to make sure the correct type of pin is installed.
