    Found a workaround for now. Anyway here's a photo of the shim package!

    Actually spacers along the top frame, which I made from 2024t3 aluminium tubing

        With zero experience in aircraft construction, in 1974 I replaced a wooden door on my BL12-65 with a metal one that I made with 025 aluminum sheet metal and pop rivets.
        It closed perfectly from the first time I put it on. I remember that it was a very easy job and without major problems.
        At that time I only knew how to fly, and I had no idea how airplanes were made and particularly my Taylor.

            I built my frames to fit my doors when I recovered, that way you know what does and doesnt fit. Tim
