  • Best ignition Harness/plugs

If running with cowl bumps what harness and spark plugs with Bendix sl4n-21mags (C-85)work best? Also does one need an elbow set up or will they clear straight in with the bumps(doubtful!!) (I would think definitely an elbow .... however what harness plug combo?

On the C-90 clip wing I did we did small bumps with a Slick harness. I also shortened the center part of the lead nut. The leads are fairly flexible. And will flex and bend in less distance that any solid elbow.

UREM38BY, they provided the shortest height for any of the new shielded spark plugs. If your bumps are high enough you can use (U)REM40E plugs. For a while Champion had spark plug resistance issues, but they may have that taken care of now. I have been using Autolite, and now Tempest since the Champion issue.
