    Should I just add spacers until the rudder horn clears?

    your spring is probably worn some, and you can add some 1/8" rubber. I would get a new spring and then add the rubber. Mine used to hit, new spring and rubber gave me about 3/16" clearance. Tim

      Also check the rudder hinges. The weight of the rudder wears the hinges such that the rudder ends up with vertical play ie the rudder gets lower ( as long as you're pulling positive G's

        thanks all.I installed a 1/2 inch Block to clear the horn..
