Tim, the .com everyone thought was still in business. Some info is there, the parts portion is gone.
        Cheers,
        Marty

Yes its the .com but the parts section which was very useful has now disappeared.
Does anyone know who owns / regulates it?

Taylorcraftuk, please give your name so we know who is who. Taylorcraft was last owned by a Mexican consortium who had grand plans to start turning out parts and then ultimately planes. Neither happened and I haven't heard for several years what has happened with NOS parts and manufacturing equipment.
            Cheers,
            Marty

                Hi Marty / Gary

My name is Ian - Me and my pal are in the middle of restoring G-BVDZ ex N96743 BC12D.

Big job as its been passed through various owners over the last 20 years after a prang in the USA however gradually everything is coming back together. We are also using many parts from G-BTFK which we bought last year. Click image for larger version

                  Interesting link - https://www.fundable.com/luis-Aguirre

Just had a response from him and he is trying to get Taylorcraft going again using crowdfunding?

Yes Rob we know that however -

Mr. Ian, our apologies, but by the moment, the company is on stand-by, we are on the process to raise funds to start operations through our Crowdfunding Campaign and the participation of private investors with the sale of shares at general public, FYI in 2015 and 2016 the government approved the Title III (Reg CF) and Title IV (Reg A+) for small companies can be go public and we are on this process at the moment, I appreciate that you contacted us, any other request please contact us on the next few weeks once we finished with our Campaign, anyway we will keep in touch with you, thank you

Sell the TCDS like Cub Crafters did. They are masters at copying parts and products. https://www.avweb.com/news/cubcrafte...e-corporation/

But likely for taylorcraft any general public funds will soon get absorbed and distributed. Parts support would be nice but in today's market a new plane and engine would be a tough deal.

The owners used to be fairly accessible by email but that stopped years ago. I am glad someone is 'talking' again. They had a problem with getting approval to make parts, not sure if that has changed.

Hi Ian, welcome and best of luck with the restoration!!!
                          Cheers,
