Yes they are a nice alternative to Pipers. With a strong fuselage, flaps, 150-60 hp, long strong gear (center gear bolts are critical), and fast. VG's were never approved but common airfoil to the Taylorcraft would make that happen. Big baggage also. They're the plane the L-2 should have been.
