Hey Tribe - I'm pretty new at video work, but I just created a youtube channel to document my Taylorcraft restoration (among other things). I've started covering the right aileron. About to start covering the wings. Check it out - maybe even subscribe - if you like that sort of thing. Here's the first video: https://youtu.be/bgs2DoVdvdk

Hey Brian, good idea. The more documentation of restorations the better.

Just binge watched all 6 episodes. Great videos! I'm eagerly waiting for the next installment. I especially enjoyed the detail work you showed with the stich work. The timelapse in episode 6 was also neat to watch. Thanks for sharing them!

Thanks for the feedback Anthony! I'll try to do some more of the timelapse. I thought that was pretty neat too.

Episode 7 is up. This one is me flying to Oshkosh and doing the Fisk arrival in my Bonanza. Also includes quite a few still photos of the nice Taylorcafts at Oshkosh. Most I've ever seen there. Planning to have mine ready for the trip next year.

Very cool videos Brian! Haven't seen all episodes, only because it's 0230 now, but I will.

We need to talk....... I am just starting TWO concurrent restorations, one a '46 BC12-D that will get the Harer C-85-12 Model 19 upgrade, and a '51 original Model 19.

We have a lot in common in addition to the T's, like the A300, living on an airpark, video junkie, etc.

Feel free to PM or e-mail me anytime. It's [email protected]

Keep up the super work you are doing. Know a great welder? I need a new right gear leg (with straight axle..........

                      Cheers,

                      Jon

Glad you like the videos Jon. Thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you're about to get knee deep into some projects. Good luck! I also have two T-crafts. I bought the second one as a disassembled project to get the C85, the prop, and some parts. I have the paperwork for it, but it's not very complete. No intention of restoring the second one - probably just sell off the unused spares when I'm done.

Where's your airpark? I have a neighbor who's a good welder and has a nice Lincoln TIG machine.
