Today there was a fly-past in Sheffield, UK, over the site where ten US Airmen perished in their B17 "Mi Amigo" during the war.

An 8-year-old boy witnessed the crash, and has since then lovingly tended the memorial where they are remembered. So he's an old man now, and has always wanted a fly-past for them.
Today it happened, by both the USAF and the RAF.

There were Ospreys and F35s Hercules and all-sorts. It brought a tear to my eye.
