What happened to the signature block?

I have tried to contact the webmaster via a link in this forum. I have not gotten a response and I wonder if it is working. I am trying to ask what happened to the signature blocks. They are all missing from all the posts lately.

Bob, you have to go to settings to put your block back in. Yours is present, as well as mine. However, not everyone has updated from the previous site. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to do it.

Who cares? I have never understood this "Signature" thing.

It's an American 'thing'. Happens on all the forums, aircraft, motorcycle, car, etc.
