I need to replace the shock cords on two BC12-D's, what is the shock cord of choice and where should I buy them?

I have looked and there are several to choose from. Not sure what part number to order and I can't make out the numbers in the Taylorcraft manual.

Use the search button in the upper right, Jon. Tons of info on which ones and how to do it, etc.
        Cheers,

Jon.... If you search for 'bulk order', you will get two threads from a few years back. Seems most people ordered 4 9010HD cords for post war. There is some discussion about mixing different cords to get stiffer ride. Marty is right. There is a lot of data out there. It's just that the forum has gotten so big and the search function so weak that the search return is often overwhelming. We truly need a robust boolean search but I don't think we have it. At least I can't make it work. But that's another story. BTW, when you get to the installation point, give me a shout. I have a Dave Rude tool in Conroe, Tx.

On another subject: Have you ever eaten at Cajun Tales Seafood in Welsh? If so, good crawfish etouffee?

            look for 9010HD

hmm... It's actually easier to find them if you look at the online catalog (.pdf style) here is a link to page 53 where they are listed

You want to get the freshest ones you can, the more recent the manufacture date the longer they last. Tim
