Re: New guy
Welcome aboard. Just to add to your info. data base. I have a very strange Tcart. It is BC12D with an 85, but it is not a BC12D-85. It was done on a 337 years ago and the FAA confirms that it is therefore legal. But the wing attach fittings were not changed so I can only carry 1200 gross. That is to say being heavy with the oversized tires, a 25 size batttery, strobe lights, copper gas lines, 3 tanks, a panel mount radio and enough wiring for a 727, with full gas and all 150 lbs of me, I can carry a pet cat or a small bag, but not both.
Of course on a pleasant day it will give me 850 ft/min. on a cruise prop for the first 1000 feet, so I really can't complain.
With only the front tank full I can carry a 120 lb lady; if she is sweet, or nice, or just about anything short of ... ahh, I digress.
Anyway I have the STC for 1280 gross, also 1500 or whatever the high figure is.
If I ever take the wings apart I will likely change at least the wing fittings.
You probably want to check all that kind of thing while you can get to it.
