  • Part Number for Rudder Pulley

Does any one know the part number for the rudder pulleys by your legs it is the small pulley in the cluster of 3 by door post and floor. Also where has most folks found the best price for ordering hardware from? Id look it up but I'm on the road and want to get things ordered today.

The small pulleys are an A-229 according to the fuselage prints I have. Here's a couple of sources. There may be others. These are ball bearing pulleys I think so cost more than originals that had bushings.

We manufacture and sell FAA/PMA'd parts for many general aviation and vintage aircraft including Aeronca, Cessna, Piper and Taylorcraft.

For a rudder why spend the big $ for pulleys? Originals would work well and better than cracked or worn out bushings.

I have ball bearing pulleys, well worth the money and the best upgrade besides hydraulic toe brakes.

Ball-bearing all the way. Greatest upgrade I did years ago.
