  • Exhaust shroud dimension needed

I'm looking for a measurement to locate the carb heat outlet on the exhaust shroud on the stock system.

So I'm referring to the dimension from the bottom of the horizontal portion of the shroud, down the tailpipe portion to the edge or centre of the carb heat tube welded boss.

If anyone with a stock or univair shroud in easy reach could grab a tape measure I'd appreciate your help. Plus/minus .25" I'm sure will be fine.

    Thanks
    S

Not sure I took a photo of exactly what you are needing but got these with a tape by it if you can use that.

I think this is what you want. Approximately 6 1/2 in to center from bottom of shroud.

My bad, wrong end of the heater tube! Afraid I don't have any with a ruler for these. That was one beat up piece of aluminum!
