  • Manuals F19

I have flown this taylorcraft for 15 years. The pilot is having issues with his license. So its time for me to get my Private Pilots license. Anyone know where i can find a POH manual for a f19 model. Also looking for a parts manual.
    Any info would be great

The only manuals are from Univair. No POH that I remember, just placards from the 2 that I worked on. Tim

A POH or Flight Manual was not required for aircraft built before March 1, 1979. unless you can come up with a copy of a manual for a F-19 Built after that date you are likely out of luck. For learning to fly simply use the operating limitations for the airplane and use the general numbers for speeds, normally a percentage of stall speed, from the Airplane Flying Handbook.

Here's some potential sources for F-19 owners manuals and a parts manual last:

This interactive catalog of Taylorcraft airplane parts is free to use courtesy of Univair Aircraft Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of vintage aircraft parts and supplies. Printed copies can be purchased from our website or by calling our sales office at 1-888-433-5433 during regular business hours.

The TCDS 1A9 for the F-19 lists an Approved Airplane Flight Manual under the Interior Equipment section as Item 401 (b) 1973 and (c) 1980.

A POH or AFM was not required before March 1, 1979 unless the type certificate specified it was required. As Gary stated above: For an F19 Taylorcraft ---TCDS 1A9---under required equipment is item 401(b) FAA Approved AFM for Model F19 dated July 3, 1973. For many of these older airplanes the Airplane Flight Manual consisted of a single piece of paper.

This link above appears to have lots of documents: https://www.eflightmanuals.com/ITEM_...M.asp?cID=3249

            I might order some eventually.

Can you scan it and upload it to the tech reference section?

I’ll give it a try. My workplace has a scanner and I can at least save it as a pdf. Then send it to someone that knows what they are doing. I’m looking for a 337 for installing the 850 aero classic tundra tires on a f-19 if anyone has one they will give up

Edit: Tim got it done B4 me...thanks.

Look at 8.50x6 337 for F-19. It's upside down but downloaded and saved by Adobe Reader can be rotated. I guess the TSO'd Desser tires are the same: https://www.desser.com/Aircraft-Tire...LASS-AA4K5.asp
