With only 2 years on my last bungees, (purchased from aircraft spruce) and all though I do a lot of landings it seems as though they should not be sagging yet. They are sagging about 1/2 inch I am thinking time for replacement. So I am hoping others are in need of bungees as well then we could try a group buy from the manufacture that should lower the price as well as get us bran new or recent made stock. If others are interested, please reply to this thread I'll start a list and contact manufacture to see what the cost would be. P.S. I will close my previous thread (bungee time again) to avoid any confusion.

Re: 2018 Bungee group buy
Steve, I believe they use different numbers. However, a friend of mine might be interested in buying a set for his L-2M so hopefully that will help.Cheers,

Re: 2018 Bungee group buy
I would be interested in a set (of 4 I believe) for my 1946 BC12D. It has been on EDO 1400 floats since I purchased her, but just ordered the Bungee Tool from Mr. Rude. I have the blessing of the boss to try the skiis next season and I'm getting everything together. The plane came with Federal skiis and wheels, but she has always remained on floats.

Re: 2018 Bungee group buy
As I remember there were three sizes. One for pre war, one for post war and one for the L birds. That is the best recollection I have, BUT the guy who mad them knew exactly what was needed. When you get a list of how many for each model he will be able to tell you exactly which bungees you need.
He is the expert.
