    I recall an STC as well, as I remember it was for one door off only.

      FAA Advisory Circular 105-2C has a list of aircraft that can be operated with one door removed. That AC has been superseded by 105-2D which states to contact your local FSDO for approval.

            Jack Archibald, a friend of mine holds the STC for one door off. He bought his "Ace" new in 47 and still has it!!
            The STC is SA208WE and is for removal of the right door for parachute jumping and aerial photography.
