  • Anyone know what bulb this takes?

    Hi All,

I checked the bulb on this indicator light only to find it is missing.

Not sure what bulb is supposed to be in there (it's a 12v system).

Anyone know what bulb it takes?

    Thanks, Dave R.

      Thanks Scott,

The 336 does not have the little lugs on the side to hold it in (bayonet type)

If it has the pins or lugs as you called them, a GE 53 might work. That is what a Piper Cherokee uses for panel lights. Otherwise you are going to have to determine the base size and style, and then find a bulb of the correct wattage.

          Hi Tom,

Thanks, yes agree, was hoping someone had similar and new the p/n.

I found a few GE's that look to very close if not correct. The lowest power is a GE1813 gonna try that today if I can find one in a auto store.

I have some 1819's that might fit.

Dave...Here's a link to a PDF for dimensions of GE bulbs. Might help.

                Thanks Mike,

I found an 1816 today that fits. According to the catalog its uses more current than I prefer but it fits! Will try to get a lower power on later.

Catalog indicates 1813 is lowest power 1815 next then 1818 and 1816.

                Thanks to all.
