2018 Calendar Pictures

OK, the 2017 calendars are out there. I think Nick did a great job. The biggest problem with doing the calendar was getting the pictures. The project got started late, and he had to dig into the past to come up with his choices of pictures. He had a few choices that didn't get used, because he didn't have permission from the photographers.

So, if there is going to be a calendar for next year he will need some pictures. Those who purchased a calendar for 2017 will have an idea of the kinds of pictures that he is looking for. I know everyone would like to see their airplane in the calendar, so come on guys get creative with your pictures. Pictures shot in landscape format and higher resolution will work best. Please send the pictures to [email protected] .

I just remembered a bunch of professional flying shots taken of my L-2 at the Air Force Museum that were very nice. I will check with the photographer to see if he minds, (he might want mention or not).

Marty, I think the photographer received mention in all the photos used in the 2017 calendar. We had permission for all the photos used except for November. Nick said we were going to use it permission or not.

The photographer gave me the pictures without problem. We'll just mention him in the description if you use one. I will send them to you tonight.

Those calendar pictures are really very nice! I especially liked the one pf Grandpa's 41 Deluxe. I bought mine as a basket case in 1990 and Tom was so much help and sent pictures of that plane which was a great inspiration to keep it as original as possible. My Granddaughter was here for Christmas and this is Veronica and her Grandpa's 41 Deluxe.

I will drag mine out and try to get some good pictures as soon as this weather allows. Been. Trying to deliver and airplane from morehead, ky to Portmouth, oh(50nm) for that last 2 weeks and have not had a day where the weather was good enough for a 20 minute flight. I has been awful here since Xmas.
