  • AN Fitting

Well, fuel shut off valve replacement was going well until I cross threaded the AN fitting on the firewall side. Anybody have the part number for the AN fitting nipple? 1/4 inch fuel line.

It depends what size pipe or hose you have running to your fuel strainer and if you want to use steel or aluminium.
Assuming it's a straight nipple to 1/4" ID tube, it will be 1/4 pipe thread to AN4 tube which will be AN816-4-4 (steel) or An816-4-4D (aluminium)

I'd use the steel stuff for the engine side of the firewall. I have found some of the fuel valves have a tube thread and not the tapered pipe thread. Most of these straight threads use a 3/8" line and compression style "break away" nuts.

if its a 3/8" tube/line to the gascolator, its an AN818-6d
