Stock Exhaust Shroud

Hey all

I'm looking for a sketch or photo of the stock (BC12D) exhaust heat shroud at the tail pipe . Specifically what supports the lower end of the shroud that covers the tailpipe. Is it a full baffle riveted to the shroud such that it is more or less airtight? or is it open with some form of support brackets? Steel, aluminium?

It should be open IIRC. I'll try and get a picture later looking up the end of an exhaust.
