Check Barnstormers.... There's a nice BC-12 D with the C-85 0-200=stroker with low hours and restoration....and a low price, IMHO. the plane is in Virginia

    Good luck

        Re: 85+hp tcraft

Its been awhile since I have checked here.

I am pretty sure I found a good plane. 46 bc12-d that has a c-90 on the nose. It doesn't have a starter but has full electrical system. If all goes as planned in the next month I should be a proud owner of a T craft.

I have searched around a bit for insurance. so far AVEMCO has been the cheapest, but I haven't made any decisions yet. What are you guys paying annually for insurance?

Though I really like Avemco, (great service), they are probably one of the highest price insurance companies around. I get mine through AOPA. Not sure if my yearly rate matters as mine is an A-65 powered T-Craft.

So much depends upon hours flown, pilot ratings, tailwheel time, etc., so not sure you can get an accurate reading on insurance costs.
            Cheers,

For the record gents - BOATS FLOAT, AIRPLANES LAND TOO FAST - :-)) Sorry, just could not help myself. Seriously, 55 mph across the fence works good. Need to watch speed on final. It can get away from you fast as the little girl is pretty clean.
