looking for a set of Slick or Eisemann magnetos or any thing that will work on a Continental A75.
had left mageto fail - eisemann coil will put out weak spark when bench ck, unable to locate parts
call several repair shops and salvage yards with no help - will take either magneto eisemann or slick

    e-mail me at [email protected]

PS planning to attend fly in a Fort Parker at Groesbeak, Tx if the weather does not get to bad - Ray

Would a replacement coil fit you up?

Fresno Air Parts have them. Fresno Airparts Company . Email [email protected]

Stay with the Eisemann's if you can...they are more reliable.

I spend a fair proportion of my time here in the UK servicing & overhauling Eisemanns and I get all my spares from them.

Edit: Check the crimped/soldered tab on the end of the ground wire from the coil...these are known to come loose.

              Re: magnetos

Please don't toss the Eisemanns. I am talking to someone who may be able to rewind bad coils (NO ONE TOSS BAD COILS EITHER!!!!). We need to hang on to these old parts. Amazing what can be repaired now that couldn't be just a few decades ago. ;-)

                    Re: magnetos

New is only cheaper when there are new ones available, and those are drying up fast. I ALWAYS keep the cores for the day when they won't be available any more.

My problem is FINDING them after they get boxed up and stored!
