    Ok, here is one that can become confusing, if someone has an auto gas STC for their airframe from EAA and an auto gas STC from Petersons for their engine, is it legal to fly?

    And another, what if you have a Petersen's STC for both the airframe and an A-65, then change to a different S/N A-65 or C-85?

      yes to the first. need new stc for the second. stc is serial number specific.

        Called Petersen and updated my airframe/engine STCs SA2085CE/SE2029CE from 1985 to reflect the subsequent engine change. They give credit for prior STC cost against current pricing, and supply new paperwork and placards for the airframe and engine. Very good to deal with.
